Ed Helms joins Jennifer Garner in the Netflix comedy Body Switch Family leaves.
Based on the book by Amy Krouse Rosenthal Bedtime for momfollows the story of Jess and Bill Walker, who do their best to keep their family connected as their children grow older, more independent and distant.
The rest of the logline reads: “When a chance encounter with an astrological reader causes the family to wake up with a complete body change, on the morning of the most important day of each of their lives, the Walkers can unite to create a to land a promotion, college interview, record deal, and football tryout?
McG is set to direct from a script by Adam Sztykiel (Black Adam). McG, who has a long history with Netflix, including titles The babysitter and Tall girlwill also co-produce with Wonderland partner Mary Viola.
Lawrence Gray and Ben Everard will produce for Gray Matter Productions, along with Nicole King Solaka for Linden Entertainment and Garner. David Hyman and Jason Brian Rosenthal will executive produce.
Helms, represented by UTA, Artists First and Schreck Rose, was recently featured in the Peacock series Rutherford Fallswhich he also co-created, and Sundance comedy There there.
