It’s official: Sylvester Stallone goes Kardashian with a Paramount+ reality series following the iconic action star and his family.
The Stallone family is a docuseries about the iconic action star, his wife Jennifer Flavin Stallone and daughters Sophia, Sixtine and Scarlet.
He praises the description of the eight-episode series: “Stallone is ready to give cameras access to what he would consider the greatest role of his life: father. Starring Stallone’s three daughters, his wife and himself, this new series brings one of Hollywood’s most famous families to the table.”
A teaser trailer for the Tulsa king star’s reality debut – under the suite of Paramount+ programming – will air during the Super Bowl, below:
Recently, Stallone defended the idea of doing the reality show during a cover story interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
“I felt like I wasted a lot of time,” he said. “Now I realize that there is only a limited number of bullets left in the gun. Very little. When you’re young you just shoot wildly indiscriminately and hope you hit something. Now you don’t have the luxury of missing out – especially with the family and kids. That is my biggest regret. Everyone says, “I wish I had shown more love” or “I wish I had spent more time with the kids.” I sail that boat. That’s one of the reasons I wanted to do the reality show that I’ve done a lot for.
“I thought [the reality show] would be the ultimate home movie,” he continued. “This is an opportunity where I will be with my kids under a working condition where they can see me in action and I can see them in action. What you will see is the real truth. This is a great opportunity. I don’t see it as stooping to conquer. But every time you go in a different direction, people say, ‘Oh God, you have to be there [financial] issue.’ Just the opposite.”
The Stallone family premieres this spring and is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, with Benjamin Hurvitz, Jessica Zalkind and Nadim Amiry serving as executive producers. Julie Pizzi, Farnaz Farjam and Jonathan Singer serve as executive producers for Bunim-Murray Productions, with Lauren Goldstein, Valana Hunn, Chris Ray and Jason Williams serving as co-executive producers.
