Macs are ready for 2022
While announcing its fourth quarter 2022 financial results, Apple announced that its first quarter 2023 (that is the holiday quarter of 2022) Mac revenue would decline year-over-year. Then Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that Apple won’t release new Macs until 2023, probably in March.
So it’s a little disappointing that we have this lull in the evolution of the M2, and we have to keep waiting for new MacBooks, a new Mac mini and a new Mac Pro.
Speaking of the Mac Pro, Mark Gurman also reported on the possible specs of this workstation. It could have an M2 Ultra chip with 24- or 48-core CPUs, 76- or 152-core GPU, and up to 256GB of memory.

iPad Pro Rumors
Apple has updated the iPad Pro with M2 processors, so of course there are already rumors about future iPads. The Information reports that Apple could release a 16-inch iPad Pro during the holiday season of 2023. And it seems that many Macworld readers like the idea of a super-sized iPad.

What if that new giant iPad Pro ran macOS? A wild rumor recently circulated that Apple could release an iPad version of macOS 14 next year.
Could macOS make its way to the iPad Pro? We’re a little skeptical about this wild rumor, but also very intrigued.
iPhone rumors
And of course there are rumors about the iPhone 15. The latest rumor is that the 15 Pro may not have actual buttons. Well, it will have buttons, but the solid state kind that doesn’t move physically and a haptic engine gives physical feedback.
We’re closing this show with an iPhone SE rumor. The latest from Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants says the next version will have a 5.7-inch display.
