The main highlight of the Windows 10 March 2022 Optional Update is support for Windows Search Highlights. As you can see in the screenshots below, a new search feature called “search highlights” allows you to view trending content on the web around the world and in your organization.
Search highlights promise detailed information about moments of interest such as holidays, anniversaries and even educational moments in your region or worldwide. You can learn about the moments by tapping the image in the Windows 11 search box interface.
Likewise, corporate clients can view information related to organization, people and files.
The highlights search feature is currently available to select users, and Microsoft has said it will be rolling out soon. Microsoft plans to consider feedback from early testers before spreading it to a wider audience. Wide availability will take place in the coming months, according to the company.
In addition, Microsoft has added a new feature that allows you to change the color of toast buttons to more easily identify success and critical scenarios. With this new feature, you can easily customize the notifications using Windows 10’s native system.
For advanced users, there is a new policy that would extend an app’s top three notifications by default in the Action Center.
In addition to these features, Microsoft has also fixed several bugs in the operating system. For example, Microsoft has made a change to fix an issue that prevents Android users from signing in to certain Microsoft apps, such as Outlook or Microsoft Teams.
Similarly, fixed another bug where the login details window would become invisible when pressing the back button.
