Ozzy Osbourne’s Parkinson’s illness diagnosis, according to Sharon Osbourne, only drew the two people closer.
The Emmy Award-winning actress, 69, discussed her thoughts on the rock star’s prognosis in the recent ITV documentary Paxman: Putting Up with Parkinson’s, which was released three years after her husband made his health struggles public.
When Sharon and Ozzy first learned about his condition in 2003, she recalled what it was like to have “your life just stop suddenly.” “Your way of life.”
“My heart hurts for my husband when I look at him,” she continued. “Although it makes me upset to see him in that way, what he goes through is worse. And occasionally, when I gaze at him, and he isn’t aware of it, I start to cry.”
Sharon recalled Ozzy’s pre-diagnosis activity in the documentary, saying that the musician, 73, used to be “quite lively” and “liked to go out on walks.” He now has trouble sleeping, she said, so at night he takes cannabidiol.
But the former host of The Talk prefers to highlight the positive aspects of their 40-year marriage and ongoing love story.The good news is that we spend a lot more time together as a family, and she admitted that she now loved her husband even more than she had three years prior.
In 2020, Ozzy made his diagnosis public.

During an interview on Good Morning America with his family, he said, “It’s been incredibly difficult for us all. “On New Year’s Eve, I performed my final show at The Forum. I then suffered a terrible tumble. My neck needed surgery, which damaged all of my nerves.”
Just this past June, Sharon disclosed that Ozzy needed an operation that would “define the rest of his life.” She kept quiet about the procedure he would be getting.
He posted on Instagram shortly after the procedure to say, “I am already home from the hospital recuperating peacefully. I sincerely appreciate everyone’s prayers, thoughts, and best wishes for my recovery, and I can’t deny that I feel the love and support of all my followers.
