Children who had a close relationship with their grandparents, like the one between the late Queen Elizabeth and her great-grandchildren, might suffer greatly at the loss of a grandparent.
Her Majesty was not only the longest-serving head of state in British history for 70 years, but she also excelled in her responsibilities as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her reign also helped the nation’s transformation through time.
According to the news, Kate Middleton was the one who informed her children about the Queen’s demise before they heard it from another source.
She casually informed George, Charlotte, and Louis of Elizabeth’s passing at Windsor before the news was made. She intended for them to receive the terrible news straight from her in order to lessen the impact, a royal insider claimed, according to Closer Weekly.
“Kate said that Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth are in paradise. Naturally, there were a lot of tears and hugs. The kids are disturbed.
Prince Louis is much too little to comprehend everything that has happened, despite Prince George and Princess Charlotte attending the burial.
The kids enrolled at the famous prep school Labrook School just days before the terrible occurrence of the Queen’s death. Throughout the family’s difficult times, William and Kate made sure the siblings maintained their normalcy, which included going to school as usual.
Elaine Gee, a schoolteacher from Woking, England, spoke about her chat with Prince William and how he and Kate handled the circumstance.”I told him how I work at a school and how it’s been a crazy year celebrating the Jubilee, and now it’s all changed, and we are talking about this,” Gee said, according to People.
“He mentioned George, Charlotte, and Louis, indicating that they were attempting to maintain some feeling of continuity for them at school and make things as normal as possible.”
Aiming to produce “happy and thoughtful young adults who are global citizens,” the new school has a history of enrolling royal students. The school also has pigs, bees, chickens, and other animals that the kids may help care for.
“We are thrilled that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will be joining us in September and very much look forward to welcoming the family, as well as we all as all of our new children, to our school community,” Jonathan Perry, headmaster at Lambrook, said.
It appears like Prince George is making use of his place in the line of succession now that he is old enough to fully understand that his father will one day become King.
Author and Vanity Fair royal writer Katie Nichol claims in her book The New Royals that Prince George has already told some of his schoolmates to “look out” since his father will one day become King.
According to Nichol, “They are raising their children, notably Prince George, with a consciousness of who he is and the position he will inherit, but they are eager not to burden them down with a feeling of obligation,” she wrote according to Express.
George, who is aware that he would one day be King, once outperformed his peers when he sparred with friends at school by saying, “My dad will be king, so you better watch out.”
